Beverley Anne Mitchell was born in Arcadia, California on January 22, 1981 to David, an auto racing promoter, and Sharon, an office manager. Like other television veterans, Beverly started her acting career at a young age of 5. She was spotted by an agent having a temper tantrum with her Mom in the middle of a shopping mall. At the age of 4, Mitchell got her first break appearing in an Oscar Meyer commercial. Other commercials she appeared in were Cream of Wheat, Iron Kids B read, Energizer batteries, and Disney videos. She has been working steadily ever since in both television and film. Beverley Mitchell made her TV debut with a guest appearance on the NBC soap, Days of Our Lives. It wasn't long before she made the leap to primetime; her numerous credits include appearances on Melrose Place, Baywatch, Quantum Leap, and the sitcom, Phenom, starring Judith Light. Mitchell also appeared in small, independent features such as 1994's Killing Obsession as well as made-for-TV movies such as the 1992 miniseries Sinatra (as young Nancy) and 1995's White Dwarf. Shortly after she was on the WB as one of the fresh faces of the hit "7th Heaven" (1996). While busy with the show, Beverley graduated from high school in 2000 and is currently attending Loyola Maramount University where she is studying film, she also actively participates in RADD Kids and KMART Kids Race Against Drugs charities, among others. While active on her show she also starred in the independent short film Mean People Suck (2001).
